Porter Moore
Porter grew up in Colorado, spending much of his time in the Rocky Mountains on Grand Lake and the slopes of Winter Park. He studied Political Science and International Relations at New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire, and at the college’s sister campus in Arundel, West Sussex, England.
Porter and his wife lived in Sandwich, New Hampshire, where they were actively involved with the Loon Foundation and the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. Through this work, he developed a strong passion for advocating for local ecology and preservation.
A few years ago, Porter and his family relocated to Montana to be closer to their families and to raise their son on Flathead Lake. Having always felt at home on and around the water, he continues to be deeply committed to conservation and stewardship of the natural world.
